The Bet Bengali Explanation
It was a dark autumn night.
একটা অন্ধকার শরতের রাত।
The old banker was walking up and down his study and remembering (রিমেমবারিং – স্মরণ করা) how, fifteen years before, he had given a party one autumn evening.
